Every year open and free software lover celebrate  Software Freedom Day (SFD) on third saturday of september and in the same way third friday as Software Freedom Eve. In Kathmandu University, we have Kathmandu University Open Source Community (KUOSC), wing of Kathmandu University Computer Club (KUCC), which is actively envolved in various activities of open source and free software movement .
